Rose is 7 years old and lives with her 22 year old mother and 2 siblings in a poor farming village in Uganda. She loves to draw in school and for fun and is always playing games like jump rope with friends. Rose is her second year of preschool but unfortunately, her mother is struggling to pay her school fees. Rose’s mother, the sole supporter of the family, is a subsistence farmer, producing only enough for the family to eat and just a little to sell. As a result, Rose may not be able to continue her education without a sponsorship.
