Junior is 7 years old and lives with his mother and sister in a small farming village located in Central Uganda. The family’s main source of livelihood is small scale farming growing maize, groundnuts, beans and vegetables. The family earns less than US$2 month making it extremely difficult for his mother to pay for basic housing and healthcare, let alone education. Gratefully, he is attending pre-school and particularly loves counting and playing ball with friends.
